  3. The Civil War • There were three major battles during the English Civil War. • Edgehill (1642) • Marston Moor (1644) • Naseby (1645) • But there were also lots of smaller clashes, normally sieges. Three sieges actually took place in Lichfield.

  5. Task: Prepare and perform a radio play on the three sieges: • Assign parts and read through scripts. • Start to think about sound effects (who will be responsible for them? It cannot be the person speaking at the time!) • Practice your radio plays.
