3. Air Synchronization Air Synchronization To activate Handover through CS, all CS must be synchronized. CSs are synchronized by using “Air Synchronization” for same air Sync. group After CS synchronized with other CS, Handover is available. 3. Air Synchronization CS Coverage Area for Air Synchronization between CSs You must not install SIP-CS without site survey. Coverage Area: Radio signal strength level is between “03” (about 50m to 60m) and “14” (about 20m to 30m). 4.2. CS Radio Zone setting Step0: Initialize CS for Before Registration Before CS/PS registration, following process must be done 1. Depress RESET Switch while CS is power on (See Note) 2. Keep pressing RESET Switch 10 sec. And wait around 60sec until LED turn on red When you use CS very first time, you do not need to initialize Note:You need wait until LED on the CS will start blinking RED or Stay Red when you initialize CS See next page how to initialize CS by Web 1. Initialize CS 2. Open CS-Web interface • Depress RESET Switch and turn on • CS power • Keep pressing RESET until LED blink amber/red/green

CS Radio Zone setting Step0: Initialize CS by CS-Web You can initialize CS by CS-Web interface CS-Web LOGIN Default Web Address (192.168.0.241) CS For CS and PS registration, need to set up Super Master CS 1) Open CS-Web (See previous page) 2) Access CS-Web (Default Web address is 192.168.0.241) 3) Go to Maintenance menu then proceed Factory Reset 4) Then CS will be initialized and LED on CS will start RED blinking Note: *1 To enable CS-Web function, need to proceed power on with reset SW (See Page 28) Login/Password : For Installer instoperatoruserid/instpass, For Customer admin/adminpass
4.2. CS Radio Zone setting Step1: Site Planning Plan the CS position by using Site planning tool - Site planning tool (Excel) Local PC PBX Support Page of CS-Web 2. Plan & Check CS position 1.Down Load 1) Download Site planning tool (Excel) from PBX Support Page of CS Web Site 2) After you Import site map data to this tool and determine the size scale, you can plan the CS position and check the radio range of CS. (simulate for CS positioning) Note: Please refer Appendix more in detail 2. Determine size scale Import site map data (jpg format)
4.2. CS Radio Zone setting Step2:Site Survey (1/2) Locate CS as temporarily position by using LED indication 1) Keep Pressing SW and turn on the CS. 2) Release the SW button and depress it again. ⇒ Sync Master mode for Site survey starts. SyncMaster mode 3) Other CS(s) synchronize to Sync Master CS automatically 4) Check other CS’s LED * Confirm the CS radio status at planning position 5) Change position until being Green LED Slave Slave Change Position Slave Slave Slave 6) Depress the SW button again. 4.2. CS Radio Zone setting Step2:Site Survey (2/2) Following shows Site Survey status indication and status 1. 4. 3 Firmware Update Step1:Update firmware by CS-Web You can perform the firmware update manually using CS Web programming. After the firmware is uploaded to the Super Master CS, the Super Master CS distributes the firmware to all other SIP-CSsautomatically. Upload new firmware CS-Web 2 1. Deliver to all CS 3 4 1. Get in to [Firmware Update]. 2. Select [Direct] for [Update Mode]. 3.Select updated firmware 4. Click [All Update Firmware]. Note: You must update CS firmware to V01.200 or later when you use CS under NS1000
4. 4 Set up CS/PS and NS1000 Step1:Vitrula Extension (UT) install Click [Setup] select [PBX Configuration] – [1.Configration] – [1.Slot] [Virtual] – [V-UTEXT32]
4. 4 Set up CS/PS and NS1000 Step2: Set up Terminal Type Set up CS or PS type of Telephone type in Port Property as Master CS/SIP-CS or S-PS Click [Set-up] - [1.Configlation] - [1. Slot] – [Select Target V-UTEXT32] – [Port property] Note: 1. Telephone Type Setting is Master CS: Super master CS which is Master CS of Air Sync Group #1 SIP-CS : Master CS of Air Sync Group 2 to 8 and or all slave CS S-PS : PS 2. Only one Master CS can be set per one Unit 3. Do not need to set UP SIP-CS if customer does not need to set up PS-Ringing (ICD-Group Function)
4. 4 Set up CS/PS and NS1000 Step3: Entry CS/PS name and FF-Key • Enter Name of PSand Extension number • Click [Set-up] - [1.Configlation] - [1. Slot] – [Select Target V-UTEXT32] – [Port property] Enter PS Name 2. Enter FF-Key of PS Click [Set-up] - [4. Extension] - [1.Wired Extension] - [4. Flexible Button] – [Target PS ] Can be set these Functions Enter FF-Key Code Note: Set up PS related programming by wired extension setting if needed
4. 4 Set up CS/PS and NS1000 Step4: Entry CS and PS extension Number • Enter Name of CS and Extension number • Click [Set-up] - [1.Configlation] - [1. Slot] – [Select Target V-UTEXT32] – [Port property] • Note: • For PS registration, need to assign Super Master CS in Virtual UT extension card • But, It will not need AK (Capacity of UT-Extension) for Master CS but need AK for PS
4. 4 Set up CS/PS and NS1000 Step5: Set up Master CS CS-Web LOGIN Default Web Address (192.168.0.241) Super Master CS • For CS and PS registration, need to set up Super Master CS • Login CS-Web (192.168.0.241 as a default) • In default setting, CS-Web site is set as 192.168.0.241 • 2) Set up own IP Address • In default setting, CS is defined as DHCP mode. If no DHCP • server, need to set up own IP address. After IP Address, CS • will restart automatically. Better select Static mode on • Master CS • 3) Set CS mode as Mater CS • In default, CS mode is set as Slave CS, so need to set CS • mode as Master CS . After set Master CS, CS will restart • automatically Note: *1 To enable CS-Web function, need to proceed power on with reset SW (See Page 28) Login/Password : For Installer instoperatoruserid/instpass, For Customer admin/adminpass
4. 4 Set up CS/PS and NS1000 Step6: Set up System information URL (in Master CS) In order to download configuration file from NS1000, URL information of Super Master CS for getting the file in NS1000 has to be set by CS-Web. 1) Set following URL into System File URL http://192.168.0.101:7580/utdownload/System.cfg Then, Click All Save. After set up URL, CS will restart automatically. Note: At this point, configuration data is downloaded into Super Master CS and registrated to NS1000 automatically even if registration mode is [manual] mode in NS1000 Do not enter any other field Port # NS1000 IP address
4. 4 Set up CS/PS and NS1000 Step7: PS Registration CS-Web LOGIN Regist Super Master CS PS • PS has to be registered into Super Master CS by CS-Web as follows: • Login CS-Web • Select menu of PS Registration. • Click Start PS Registration. • Select Available PS and move to Selected PS by “>” button. • Click Next. • Set PS to registration mode and register that to neighbor CS. • *registration mode = push button on PS. Note: 1. Extension Number is downloaded from NS 1000 automatically, and also when change PS extension number by Web-MC of NS1000, the modification data is also down loaded automatically 2. After regist PS to CS, CS-Web will be closed. After Close CS-Web, can open Web Port by PS setting Caution: Firmware up process may execute after complete PS registration, during this process you can not de-registrationand also do not power down PS, until complete Firmware version up.

Just Set up IP address of Master CS (*) Then proceed CS registration by Super Master CS Note: If System Mode is set up as DHCP enable, do not need to set up Own IP-Address CS-Web of Super Master CS Start CS registration in Super Master CS

4. 4 Set up CS/PS and NS1000 Step10: Set up Slave/Master CS to NS1000 (For Ring group) CS-Web LOGIN WEB-MC UT-EXT32 Port property Regist Super Master CS Slave CS • When user want to use PS-RING group by NS1000 ICD Group function, Must regist Master CS and Slave CS to NS 1000 as follow • Set UP Telephone Type as SIP-CS and Extension Number in Web-MC • Set up Extension number of Master CS/Slave CS in CS-Web as same as NS1000 Data • Set up Password (1234 as default) in CS-Web
