  2. Welcome! Agenda: Introduction Class Business Homework Classroom Management Curriculum Specials Schedule
  3. Class Business Please turn in all forms! $50 Materials fee due ASAP Please bring in all school supplies (notebooks are available at Staples and Office Depot) On-time arrivals and pick-up are greatly appreciated  All absences require a note AND a call to the office
  4. Homework is… Sent home weekly Differentiated according to students’ levels Given out on Mondays Due on Fridays *Please complete reading log daily. It will count as a reading grade beginning in October.
  5. Classroom Management We have a “Traffic Light” system Everyday, students start on green If students continue to misbehave after 2 warnings, they are put on yellow After 2 more warnings, if a student is still misbehaving, they are put on red and a note is sent home describing their behavior If they are moved off of green and begin to behave better, they can be moved back to green If students have good behavior all day, they get a sticker to put on their “behavior bug” When they fill up their behavior bug with stickers, they get a prize!
