  3. Activities (1/2) • National HES plans prepared by Partners in collaboration with EHES RC • Sampling descriptions in collaboration with the EHES RC and national survey statisticians • Completed field work for the pilot organized by the Partners. Progress and outcome is monitored by EHES RC

  4. Methods (2/2) • Data transfer to EHES RC to collect the pilot HES data and to test the data transfer system • Quality assessment of the pilot HES data with the EHES RC • Dissemination plan and reporting of the results nationally by the Partners

WP1: Coordination of the JA • Overall coordination of the JA • Coordinators meetings (kick-off meeting + 3 other meetings) • Synergy between the JA and the EHES Tender activities • Monitoring and reporting the progress of the JA • Progress reports every 6 months • Monitoring of the budget and distribution of funds • Interim report (within 2 months from the 1st period of the project) • Final report (within 2 months from the end of the project)

WP2: Dissemination of the JA • Distribution of the deliverables of the JA • Preparation of an information leaflet and other promotional material on the JA • Promotion of the future European HESs to policy makers in the European Health Forum in Gastein in Autumn 2010 • Presentation of the plans and results of the Pilot HESs in a Workshop at the EUPHA Conference in Autumn 2010 • Communication to the public media • National dissemination plans by all Partners

  9. WP4: Planning and pilot fieldwork of EHES • Partners will • Plan their national HES • Follow the EHES standards • Countries with previous HESs to synchronize their earlier procedures with the EHES standards • Prepare national manuals • Document the planning process • Do the fieldwork pilot

WP5: Piloting the data transfer, assessment and reporting of the results • Partners will • Transfer the HES data to the EHES RC • Quality of the data will be assessed by EHES RC and reported back to the piloting country • Test the data reporting tool with the pilot data • Plan the reporting of the results of the full-size HES • Test the national reporting with the pilot data

WP6: Cultural adaptations of HES • Ensure the exchange of the national experiences in different cultural settings • Establishing an interactive extranet site • A workshop among the partners • The translation of the national reporting plans and the national reports into English for publication in the web
