  2. Intelligent • He was an attorney(1888-1884). • He studied in England to be attorney (late 1800s). • He figured out how to get a lot of people to agree with him about the government.

  3. Persistent • He was arrested 2 times ,(1924) (1942-1944),but he still kept going. • The British government against him ,but he still kept going.

  4. Non-Violent • Held non-violent protests(1922-1942). • Refused to hurt anyone during his protests.
