Draft ENVIFOOD Protocol for Public Consultation and Testing – Overview and Next Steps

This document outlines the draft ENVIFOOD Protocol developed during the European Food SCP Round Table meetings from 2010 to 2013. Co-chaired by David Pennington and Jean-Christophe Bligny, and supported by a diverse technical secretariat team, the protocol aims to enhance consistency, reproducibility, and comparability in environmental assessments of food products. With approximately 100 members collaborating, the document includes a methodological framework and future directions for data and product category rules. Public consultation is encouraged for further improvement and engagement.
