  2. GENDER ROLE SOCIALIZATION Socialization is the process of internalizing society's values in order to adapt to one's culture .It influences how people behave as males and females in society. The social learning process that imbibes people into understanding the various aspects of culture includes the process of gender socialization. Gender socialization encompasses the process of learning society's gender roles and their advantages and limitations. In most societies there is a clear categorization of what it means to be male or female. This categorization process and the agents of socialization that transmit knowledge about gender roles influence how individuals define themselves and other in terms of gender and sex roles.

Between the ages of 20-24, over 60% of women were married before 18 age with no education. Concerning domestic violence, there are diverse gaps in the execution of laws at the state level as 82 %

Parents try to protect children from incidents linked to gender-based violence, but children still get to know of these problems through media exposure or friends It is important for parents to talk to children about gender-related issues in an age-appropriate manner. So, that they grow up to be more gender-aware, gender-responsive and respectful.
