  3. Automotive • Car Dealerships have long used billboards to attract potential car buyers. Here the Dealer uses the symbols of various luxury cars (i.e. Mercedes, etc.) to showcase their offerings.

  4. During the Italian Fest, kiosks show off their wares by displaying signs that communicate that what they offer is exotic or foreign and therefore, worthwhile Fair

  5. Real Estate • Large blue and white print. Eye catching and clear.

  6. Medical: contrast in look • Plain blue & white; functional Same street; fancy green & white

  7. Shopping District • Awnings can afford a functional and attractive way to advertise. They can individualized or consistent to give character to a particular area.

  8. Shop • Marketing of the offerings in the shops can bring in consumers. However, dilapidated sign may reflect on the store.
