  1. Welcome To The Meeting! Once everybody is seated, I will show our agenda!

  2. Agenda: Welcome to the Thanksgiving themed Family Meeting! • Begin Meeting - Attendance - Announcements - Think About It Questions • What Are We Thankful For? • Hangman (2-5 Rounds) • Project Work Time • Meeting Wrap Up

  3. Think About It Question • DIRECTIONS: Do not share your answers. Write them dow on your piece of paper. Don’t know? Put down your best guess. QUESTION: One night, a man receives a call from the Police. The Police tell the man that his wife was murdered, and that he should reach the crime scene as soon as possible. The man drops the phone, shocked, and drives 20 minutes to the crime scene. As soon as he reaches the crime scene, the police arrest him, and he is convicted of murder. How did the police know that he committed the crime?

  4. Answer to Think About It: • The Police didn't tell the man where the crime scene was, but the man knew. • Want another? QUESTION: You're in a mansion and the power's out. You see a green door and a red door. Pick one (it doesn't matter which.) Now you see a purple door and a orange door. Pick one (again, it doesn't matter which you pick). Now you see a door with a golden handle and a door with a silver handle. Pick one. You finally come to some signs on three doors. One says "Death from drowning," another says "Death from machine guns," and the last one says "Death from electric chair." Then you see a big sign off to the side that says "Or stay in the mansion and starve to death." What do you choose and still live?

  5. ANSWER: • Pick the door with the electric chair. Remember, the power is out? 

  6. What Are We Thankful For? During this “What are we thankful for?” part of the meeting, I think it would be nice for us to fill out the sheet I am about to give to you, to show what you are thankful for and what you appreciate. When you are finished, we will show them on the document camera. 

  7. Ready to play some hangman?! Here is how it will work… I will put a hangman game on the document camera, I will keep track of who guesses each letter, and then, when the word is guessed, I will see who guessed the most letters, and then the winner can come up and put their own hangman (If they want to) If they don’t want to, anybody else that wants to can come up or I can do it. Hangman!

  8. Project Work Time Today, during project work time you will have as much time as you may need. (You have to at least stay for 35 minutes) Anyone that needs to use a computer may. The Laptop and Desktop are RESERVED for Blake and Mom. (Mom – Laptop Blake – Desktop) REMINDER: DON’T FORGET TO SAVE YOU’R POWERPOINT’S BEFORE QUITING
