  7. WEEKLY VOCABULARY • Root word presentations on Thursday • Vocabulary quiz on Monday • 5 roots per week • 5 groups, each presenting a root word. • Quizzes 100 points

Powerpoint Vocabulary • Each group chooses a theme for the week • Each person creates one slide for the group presentation • Each slide will include the root word, its definition, the root used in a word, the word definition, the word part of speech, the word used in a sentence, a picture that illustrates the word. • As each slide is created, the weekly presentation will be saved in both the group drive and in the folder on the computer. • If music will be used for the presentation, the MP3 file must be in the folder with the presentation.

Any discovered on person will be handed over to Mr. King to recover. • All bookbags and purses in the storage cupboard. • Bring novel and something to write with to your desk. • Only one at a time to potty. • Use planner for potty sign out and sign out on board. • Do not touch my desk or other’s belongings. • You may use supplies on South bookshelf. • Computers are for vocabulary and group projects only. NO GAMES OR PERSONAL NETWORKING OR EMAILS!

NO LATE PAPERS FOR FULL CREDIT • Papers must be typed and in MLA style • Either turned into Turnitin.com or Edmodo according to the teacher’s instructions. • Email to sandymelillo.browardschools.com as an attachment if there are any difficulties. • A late paper may receive an F only if turned in. • Plagiarism will result in a zero and possible suspension from school and or course failure.
