Here is the situation: • You are an intern at Ben’s Skateboard Shop. • Ben’s Skateboard Shop is opening a new location in Palos Heights. • Ben is giving a PowerPoint presentation at Independence Middle School for teens and their parents. • Ben needs you to help edit his PowerPoint presentation.

  3. Instructions will appear in the upper right hand corner of the slide. Instructions • Save this PowerPoint on to your hard drive now. • Follow the on-screen instructions on each slide. • Instructions are located in the upper right hand corner of the slide.

  4. Instructions • Use the formatting tools and Insert drop down menu. • If you do not see any formatting toolbars on your screen: • Click Tools • Customize • Reset • Ok • Submit your assignment via the Digital Drop Box.

  8. Skateboard Safety Make the text on this page the same color and font as the Slide Master. • Helmets • Knee and Elbow pads • Wrist guards and gloves • Heavy long sleeve shirts and pants • High top sneakers with ankle support

  9. Safety Tips Make words in all capital letters Bold. • Never skateboard alone • Respect other skaters • Learn how to “BAIL” • Don’t attempt HARD TRICKS too soon! • Do a safety check on your board BEFORE starting to skateboard • Do NOT hitch rides from bicycles, motorcycles or other vehicles!

  10. Safety Warning Make the text of the second bullet point italicized. • Beware of skateboard helmets with no CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) sticker inside. • Be sure to look for a CPSC sticker before using a skateboard-style helmet for bicycling.

  13. Other Famous Skateboarders Add 3 different instances of Word Art for at three skateboarder’s names (see notes for names). Use Custom Animation to have each name appear in whatever order you choose.
