Process • Principal invites DTL team to Snapshot their school • DTL staff and School leaders negotiate date • DTL sends school information package • Principal arranges a timetable of interviews • DTL team conducts interviews of : Students, Parents, Teachers, Community, Executive, Support Staff, Office Staff etc. • The DTL conducts a data audit • Report is drafted • Handover of report to Principal, Exec, Staff • Post Snapshot Professional Development

The Report • The reports include all comments made by interviewees • Commendations and recommendations are made from the data collected from the interviews and data search. • The DTL team compares the school approach to the national agenda and includes recommendations around these directions • Recommendations are written as advisory statements not directive ones • The reports are strictly confidential and for the Principal to use at their discretion.
