  5. Rule 25 c-k is used only after a single vowel which says “a”, “e”, “i”, “o”, “u” Example: back, deck, pick, rock, duck

  6. Rule 27 Z (never s) is used to say “z” at the beginning of a base word Example: zip, zoo, ze ro
