  2. Cricket LBW: When a batsmen is given out by getting hit on any part of the body besides the bat, gloves and helmet, and the ball would have gone on to hit the stumps. Bouncer: a ball that bounces up around the ribs upwards. Doosra: when a spin bowler gets the ball to turn the other direction from which he/she normally makes it turn. First drop: the batsmen which comes in after the first wicket has fallen( usually number 3). 5 wicket haul: When one bowler takes 5 wickets of his bowling in one innings. Duck: When a batsmen gets out without scoring. If you get out first ball it is called a Golden Duck, and if you get out without facing a ball it is a Diamond Duck.

  3. Pair: When a batsmen gets out for two ducks in a single match. Hat-trick: When a bowler takes 3 dismissals in 3 balls in a single match. Howzat: The slang way of saying `how that` when the fielding team is appealing to the umpire. Jaffa: A term for a ball which is almost unplayable( almost perfect). Anchor: A batsmen who plays carefully so that he doesn`t get out and usually doesn't score quickly.
