The Set Up • Lab Groups • Water Person: • Fill beaker in back with 500 mL of water. • Grab a sheet of paper towels. • Fill water and salt water cups using graduated cylinder • Label Person: • Label four cups with color and liquid using sharpie • Measure out shampoo and alcohol and put in cups using graduated cylinder • Add 3 drops of food coloring to each cup and mix • Set Up • Cut off portion of straw • Set up 1 straw in clay
Follow up • Drill: List the order of your first trial. • Did the layers stack or mix? • What changes did you make for your next trial?
