Overcoming Challenges in Plush Toy Development: A Structured Approach
Developing a plush toy involves various limitations and success criteria that must be considered. Key limitations include time constraints, material confusion, lack of sewing skills, and potential absences impacting project deadlines. To assess the success of our project, we will focus on the availability of provided equipment, adherence to safety protocols, ample workspace for organization, and the determination of our team members. By addressing these factors, we aim to create a well-designed plush toy while learning valuable skills in the process.

Presentation Transcript
Identify and explain four or more limitations that will apply when developing your plush toy • Time, constraint because we don’t have long to make our plush toy. • Material, confusion because it is the first time we are doing textiles. • Skills, I have no idea on how to sew, which materials are which and what to do. • Absense, if we are away we have less time to complete our plush toy before the deadline.
Identify and explain four criteria to determine the success of the project. • Equipment: all the equipment has been provided to us at school therefore making my job easier and less costly • Injury: we have to make sure that we complete all the safety tests 100% and listen to the teachers instructions otherwise we may injure ourselves and it may cause a setback in time. • Space: we have big desks which provide us with a lot of room to space things out so nothing is cluttered or lost and we can concentrate better and find equipment easier. • Determination: I actually try to complete the project instead of slacking off and I remember to bring my equipment.
