North East Youth Cycling: Regional Race Calendar & Opportunities for Young Riders

The North East Youth Racing Committee, led by Tony Hodgson and Tony Fawcett, presents a comprehensive regional race calendar for youth cyclists across various disciplines including road, cyclo-cross, mountain biking, and grass track. The calendar includes entry-level events, inter-club competitions, and youth coaching sessions aimed at developing racing skills. Riders can join regional teams and participate in the selection process for national events. With opportunities like 'come and try it' events and Go-Ride sessions, young cyclists are encouraged to race and build their skills. Membership with British Cycling is essential for participation.
