Once upon a time came GLASSES OF HOPE • Glasses of hope stated in February 2011. • It’s the continuity of Mauritius Round Table No. 5 social work in Mauritius. • Vision difficulties is an educational barrier on the island. This is how the project came to life; Raising funds with the main objective of helping underprivileged school children with vision difficulties by providing all the necessary professional eye tests and prescription glasses when needed.

Our partner - LIZIE DAN LA MAIN • Lizie dan la main is an Non-Profit Association for the rehabilitation of blind and partially sighted people living in Mauritius - http://www.ldlm.intnet.mu/ • They have been helping us in our endeavor and without them, we would not have been able to help as many children as today. • They also need help!!! We have noted several areas (Specially the renewal of old equipment) which is used on a daily basis to assist there members.
