  3. COMPONENT LIST/VIEW Purpose: Enables the user to view information concerning the status of a particular component and its material requirements. System Action: Displays information on the status of a component.

  4. VIEW PREVIOUS AWP ACTIONS USING LIST COMPONENTS FUNCTION

  5. AWAITING PARTS (AWP) PROCEDURES COMPONENT RECEIPT

  6. COMPONENT RECEIPT Purpose: (1) Enables the user to receive a component into the AWP unit. (2) Allows the user to establish the date and time of the receipt if prior to actual on-line action.

  7. COMPONENT RECEIPT System Action: (1) Updates Maintenance Action Form (MAF) record with job status of WQ. (2) Increases AWP quantity. (3) Generates AWP Component Locator Notice. (4) Generated High AWP Notice.

  8. COMPONENT RECEIPT PRIOR TO INDUCTING A COMPONENT INTO THE AWP LOCKER THE MAF MUST BE IN JOB STATUS “WT” AND AT LEAST ONE REQUISITION MUSTBE OUTSTANDING

  12. This identifies where the WRA is being stored in AWP (i.e. a shelf or bin) This establishes where the material is to be delivered ( i.e. AWP) MDP AND LOCATION ARE BLANK--LOCATION WILL APPEAR FROM PRIOR AWP INDUCTION

  13. SCREEN WILL DISPLAY ONLY OUTSTANDING REQUISITIONS. USE THE “VIEW ALL” FUNCTION TO REVIEW COMPLETED AS WELL AS OUTSTANDING REQUISITION AWP UPDATES MDP

  15. COMPONENT LIST / VIEW UPDATE Purpose: (1) Establishes an AWP location. (2) Updates an AWP location System Action: Updates MAF record. Note: It could be that the AWP location had not yet established in AWP

  20. AWP REPORTS AWP Summary Report - Provides subtotals of AWP components, such as percentages, of total induction's per month. requirements by specific NIIN and status for each. AWP Repair Part Status Report - List all outstanding AWP repair parts for components resident in AWP, number of Note: (AWP validation should be performed at least once per week)

  21. AWP REPORTS AWP Component Overage Report – Identifies those MCN’s over AWP resident date selected by user. Note: COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2A. Additional management attention, including a joint review of the overall AWP situation by Maintenance and Supply management personnel, shall be undertaken anytime the number of AWP components on hand exceeds 15 percent of the average monthly IMA inductions or the number of aged (more than 60 days) AWP components exceeds 1 percent of the average monthly IMA inductions.

  22. AWP Proposed Candidates For Transpose / Cannibalization Report - Identifies all candidates for Cannibalization or transpose action.

  23. AWAITING PARTS (AWP) PROCEDURES AWP MATERIAL REORDER

  24. AWP MATERIAL REORDER Purpose: (1) Used for requisition reorder of AWP items only. (2) Reordered material previously canceled or cancellation request submitted on a DDSN. (3) Reorder material erroneously cancelled by the user.

  25. AWP MATERIAL REORDER System Action: (1) Creates a requisition record and auto assigns DDSN. (2) Creates an IOU if required. (3) Creates a MSG-POST SERIAL NUMBER ISSUE when appropriate. (4) Generates a DD1348-1 when appropriate. (5) Generates a Critical Item Notice when appropriate. (6) Generates BK2 notice (UADPS sites).

  26. AWP MATERIAL REORDER System Action: System Cancellation Status will generate an AWP Cancellation notice. Notifying AWP that a part has been canceled by the supply system.
