Unit Requirements • Interactive vocabulary • Case studies/current events • Models—visual, assumptions, how/where it works today & how/where it doesn’t • Minimum 10 annotated images • *coordinate with the wiki masters for navigability and visual appeal
Generalized Rubric • 75 points—writing on your page that addresses basic overview and information of the assigned topic & requirements • 40 points—interactive elements (hyperlinks, flash, “clickable”, embeds) • 25 points— details in the content, beyond the basic requirements • 10 points contract • TOTAL = 150 points
Fall 2012 Requirements • Fix at least 1 thing that is “broken” in your unit • Add at least 1 interactive element (clickable) • Add at least 1 short video (or YouTube channel with 3 videos; less than 2 minutes each) • Pin at least 10 images (5 maps + 5 other images) with comments to your unit pinboard on the class Pinterest account • Write up explanations for each of the 1st 3 elements (your Pinterest explanations should be in the tags). Include what you changed/fixed/added, why that was a necessary change/addition, and how it adds to the overall usefulness of this wiki as a review tool. Be specific!
Grading • This project is worth 100 points • The first 3 elements are worth flexible point amounts & must total up to 60 points • Pinterest is 20 points • The write-up is worth 20 points • Wiki Masters will do the write up, along with 3 of the above tasks. Their other tasks involve being technical & stylistic support.
