Who WE Are • 12,000 credit and non-credit students enrolled annually • 42% male; 58% female • Average age of all students: 29 • 16 High Schools (12 in the EFE) • 1 Area Career Center (18 High Schools) • 1 EFE • 1 Private University
Transfer Model • Dual Credit began in the Fall 2000 with two high schools • Only IAI courses • English 101, English 102, Psychology 110 & Sociology 110
Transfer Model Formal Agreements Classes offered at the high school w/12 or more students Additional classes are offered at the College Richland provides the instructor to area schools Instructor has a masters in discipline they are teaching
Transfer Model • High school students must • Take the placement test (March) • Meet all prerequisites • Register (April) • Pay tuition and buy required textbooks
CTE Model • Rescinded articulation agreements • Formal agreements • Financial arrangements • Qualified high school instructor • During regular high school day • Textbooks • Competency-based • Placement testing waived (15 hours) • Traditional registration process after the 11th day of high school enrollment
