  2. 509 a.C.: Tuscolo, Lavinio, Ardea ed altre città latine si uniscono in una lega per contrastare le pretese di Roma sul Lazio; • 499 (496?) a.C.: vittoria di Roma presso il lago Regillo; • 493 a.C.: Roma aderisce al Foedus Cassianum per difendersi dagli Equi e dai Volsci; • 431 a.C.: l’esercito della lega sbaraglia Equi e Volsci nella battaglia del monte Algido; • 406-396 a.C.: guerra di Roma contro Veio; • 390 a.C.: incendio Gallico e pugna Alliensis;

  3. 383-382 a.C.: Equi, Volsci ed Etruschi fondano tre nuove colonie: Setia, Sutrium e Nepet; • Dissoluzione del foedus; • 381 a.C. Roma occupa Tuscolo; • Si consolida l’egemonia sul Lazio.
