  3. QUADRILATERAL. Four sided closed figures are known as ‘QUADRILATERALS’. There are different types of quadrilaterals. They are differ by their properties like measure of angles, measurements of sides, shapes etc . Different types of quadrilaterals are Square,Rectangle,Parallelogram,Rhombus etc. We can construct a quadrilateral with five measurement.A type of quadrilateral is shown below.

  4. RHOMBUS. • Rhombus is a type of quadrilateral • Its sides are equal. • Its opposite sides are parallel. • Its opposite angles are equal. • If the sides of a parallelogram are equal then it call as a rhombus. • Its diagonals are perpendicular bisector to each other. • If the angles of a rhombus are equal (90 degree) then it is call as a square. • If the diagonals of a rhombus are equal then it is call as a square. • its area is calculated as 1/2d1d2.

  5. RHOMBUS CONSTRUCTION WITH THE HELP OF DIAGONALS. • STEP-1 Draw one diagonal horizontally which has 5cm. • step-2 Draw a perpendicular to the line.

  6. step-3 measure the half of the second diagonal on either sides of the perpendicular. • step – 4 joint the sides.

  7. Thank you
