  2. The Palmetto Society • United Way of Greenville County donors contributing $1,000 or more annually. • 3,560 individuals contributing over $6.3 million dollars to help those in need in our community. • 43% of the total dollars raised by United Way is contributed by Palmetto Society members.

  3. Palmetto Society Levels of Giving • Director’s Circle $1,000 - $1,499 • Leader’s Circle $1,500 - $2,499 • Executive’s Circle $2,500 - $4,999 • President’s Circle $5,000 - $7,499 • Chairman’s Circle $7,500 - $9,999 • Tocqueville Society $10,000 +

  4. Leader’s Circle Challenge • If a donor increases their contribution to $1,500 then the Graham Foundation will match that increase $ for $! Here is how it works.

Palmetto Society Levels of Giving How your dollars help! • Here are just a few examples of why your gift is important! • $84 ($1,000 annually) provides transportation to work, job interview, counseling and appointments for one month for 5 women in a domestic violence shelter • $125 ($1,500 annually) offers 114 hours of respite care to support and reduce stress for families and caregivers of Alzheimer’s • $209 ($2,500 annually) purchases 93 prescriptions and refills for low-income, uninsured Greenville County residents

African American Leadership FANtastic Event Annual event for social networking along with a service project to provide portable fans to senior citizens who have no air conditioning. • Graduate Greenville Volunteer Project • African American leaders are stepping forward to mentor and encourage school attendance. Their ultimate goal is to impact student’s ability to graduate high school and be successful.

  10. Women’s Leadership Women Make a Difference Luncheon “Wear One, Bring One” is a service project held in conjunction with the annual luncheon. Over 500 sets of bras & panties are collected for the domestic violence shelter. • Target Markets • Women in Banking • Women in Real Estate • Women Attorneys Jobs to Careers – Women Helping Women A scholarship program funded and supported by Women’s Leadership to provide deserving, qualified women the opportunity to train for a career that would increase their income and quality of life which will enable them to reach self -sustaibability.

Young Philanthropists – age 40 & under • Be a Bunny Event • Social function where members gather for networking with a project focus of providing Easter baskets for low-income and special needs children Summer Celebration Concert/Picnic for members and prospects to celebrate the generosity of the YP’s

YP 20’s • What is YP 20’s? • YP 20’s participants are under the age of 30 and make a minimum $500 contribution with the commitment to grow their giving to $1,000 by the time they reach age 30. • Benefits of YP 20’s • Recognition as a YP 20’s community leader. • Inclusion in all YP functions which provide networking opportunities with hundreds of other young professionals in our community. • Helping others in need by making intentional decisions about planning your philanthropy now and for the future
