A Little History • In 1947 (62 years ago) the first 2 street lights were installed in Tamworth Village. • In the first 25 years, 48 lights were put in. • In the last 37 years, 32 more lights were added. • In 2006 2 street lights were installed at 25 and 113. • In 2008 the light was moved from the Veterans Memorial to the corner of Chinook Trail. • In addition, during the process of tallying the street lights, we found 3 street lights that are not billed on the outdoor lighting bill from PSNH. • We are billed for each street light monthly even if the lights is not working.
