Reference) • No wage (encouraged to support) • Entry requirements – below level 3 • Not currently in a job • Maths, English, IT, business skills, career guidance • Work preparation training

Introduction > How it’s working > About the Academy > Academy Offer > Traineeship > Apprenticeship > Summary Apprenticeship • Progress from September or January Traineeship intakes • Direct entry into Apprenticeship • Maths, English and IT at Level 2 • Level 3 Extended Diploma Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering • Level 3 Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology (practical) • Level 2 Award (ERR) • Award in Employment Rights and Responsibilities for New Entrants into the Science, Engineering and Manufacturing Sectors (QCF) • Usually 2 day release for courses (1 day competence, 1 day knowledge) • Usually 3 day work placement
