The Small Print • Duration • 5-year full-time (part-time possible) • Eligibility • Any stage from PhD completion to 3 years as postdoc. • No nationality requirements • Must be held at a UK Institution • Restrictions • Only 2-3 applications per institution • Mechanical (materials, medical, aerodynamics, acoustics and biomedical engineering) • Civil • Electrical and Electronic • Chemical • ICT (telecommunications, networks and systems, computing and information, photonics)

  6. Application Process • STAGE 1 •   The application form. •  Three page Case for Support. •   One page reference list. •   Two page CV. •   Publication and conference presentations list (no page limit). •   Letter of support from the Host Institution’s Head of Department.
