  3. ADMISSIONS FALL 2010 FRESHMEN APPLICANT POOL • 14,066 Applied • 8,718 Admitted • 62% of applicants were admitted • Grade Point Average = 3.40 • SAT = 1068 (Math and Critical Reading) • ACT = 24 “Today Decides Tomorrow”

  4. ACADEMICS IMPACTED PROGRAMS Pre-Nursing: Selection based on characteristics of the applicant pool, GPA, and SAT/ACT scores. Recording Arts: Completion of prerequisite coursework, minimum 2.5 GPA, written essay, academic performance and musical ability. ADMISSIONS SELECTION PROCESS • Impacted to first-time freshmen • Admission determined by characteristics of applicant pool • Students must take the SAT/ACT by the December 2010 test date regardless of GPA • Subject requirements must be met prior to graduation • No summer work will be allowed to meet eligibility requirements • Appeals are considered on a case-by-case basis • * Email is the official communication of CSU, Chico. It is imperative for applicants and admits to check and read their email on a regular basis. “Today Decides Tomorrow”

ADMISSIONS IMPORTANT DATES & DEADLINES • Priority Filing Period: October 1- November 30 • Admission offers begin late January on a rolling basis • EPT/ELM taken by May • Chico Preview Day: October 23, 2010 • Chico Scholarship applications accepted from October 1- December 15 (prior to admission offers) “Today Decides Tomorrow”

ADMISSIONS IMPORTANT DATES & DEADLINES • On-campus housing applications available in mid-April • Students must submit Intent-to-Enroll and $200 non-refundable Enrollment Confirmation Deposit by May 1 • All final, official transcripts must be received by July 15 (with high school graduation date) • EOP Electronic Applicant Information Form must be submitted by • November 30 • EOP letters of recommendation and high school transcripts due by • January 31 “Today Decides Tomorrow”
