  3. How to inquire information? Task 2: Listen for the way to inquire information. • How does the interviewer ask about the hours that the interviewee like to work? How many hour a week do you want to work? 2. How does the interviewer ask about whether the interviewee can balance job and study? Do you think you can handle both a job and school? 3. How does the interviewer ask about whether the interviewee would work for them? What do you think? Are you interested?

  4. What to ask in a job interview? • 1.Tell me about yourself. • My name is… Currently, I am… at… • 2.What do you know about our organization? • Talk about products, services, history and people, especially any friends that work there. “But I would love to know more, particularly from your point of view. ” • 3.What experience do you have for this kind of job? • I’ve worked as a… for … years. • 4.How would you describe your personality? • I should say I’m hardworking and reliable.

  5. What to ask in a job interview? • 5. What are your weak points? • I am sometimes impatient and do too much work myself when we are working against tight deadlines, but feel I can improve. • 6. How did you do in school? • I have an A average.  7. What kinds of people do you find difficult to work with? The only people I have trouble with are those who aren’t team players, who just don’t perform, who complain constantly, and who fail to respond to any efforts to motivate them.

  6. What to ask in a job interview? • 8. Why do you want to work for us? • I’ve researched the company and I like what I’ve learnt about it, it’s policies, goals and management. • 9. What kind of hours are you used to working? • As many hours as it takes to get the job done. • 10. How much do you expect if we offer this position to you? I would expect a fair salary based on the job responsibilities, my experience and skills and the market value of the job.
