  4. Los Errores de los aztecas • Moctezuma – creía que los españoles eran dioses y les daban sus riquezas (joyas, dinero, etc.) • Moctezuma fue captado • Los españoles hicieron amigos con los enemigos de los aztecas

  5. El Fin del Imperio Azteca • el 13 de agosto, 1521, Cuauhtémoc, el ultimo emperador rindió (surrendered) • Cortes tenía control del imperio

PUNTOS CLAVE DEL CAER DEL IMPERIO AZTECA • LOS SACRIFICIOS HUMANOS– matar millones de personas sobre mucho tiempo no es bueno para mantener una civilización. • RELIGIÓN– los aztecas pensaban que los españoles eran dioses y no querían matarlos en los batallas porque querían usarlos para sacrificios a sus dioses. • ENFERMEDADES – Los españoles trajeron enfermedades que mataron a muchos de los aztecas. Es creído que 25% de la población azteca se murió de la viruela (small pox), la más fuerte QUIT
