  2. The Faith of Noah(Hebrews 11:7) By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.

  3. Man of faith who walked with God (Genesis 6:9) • Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord, Genesis 6:5, 8, 11-12 • Noah was saved… • By God, 2 Peter 2:5 • By water, 1 Peter 3:20 • By the ark, Genesis 7:7 • By faith, Hebrews 11:7

Prepared an Ark • The ark was God’s grand expression of grace,Gen. 6:7-8, 13-14; 7:23 • God’s right to decide how to make grace available to sinners • God’s grace instructed Noah – and it teaches us, Titus 2:11-12 • Building the ark was Noah’s grand expression of faith, Heb. 11:7 • Saved “by grace, through faith”, Eph. 2:8 • Saved by water – Faith to be baptized, 1 Pet. 3:21; Tit. 3:4-5

Praised God with Offerings(Gen. 8:20-21) • Worship honors God’s character • God kept His word to Noah, and he was thankful • We honor God’s character with true worship, Jno. 4:23-24; Rev. 4:11; 5:12 • Worship honors God’s mercy • God had mercy on Noah and his family • God’s mercy toward us compels our worship, Psalm 106:1
