  4. Rules • 3 short lines • About nature • No rhyme or metaphor • (17 syllables, 5-7-5)

  5. Steps 1. Write three short lines about nature. 2. Take out superfluous words. 3. Pare words down to their verb and noun roots. 4. Add season/nature words (if necessary)
