Team Roster Jan Atkinson – School District Librarian Sharon Beversdorf – School District Technology Director Karen Dickman – Public Library Aide Sandy Hanke – Teacher Karla Larson – Public Library Board Member Lorie Mehre – Public Library Board Member Susan Paisar – School District Library Aide

  3. Meetings were held with school district and public library representatives on January 14 and March 5. An ERVING presentation on technology nights was attended on February 7. E-mail correspondence was used for communication between meeting dates.

  4. Getting the word out! Posters: Approximately 25 posters were on display in all school district buildings and throughout the communities of Birnamwood, Wittenberg, Eland and Elderon. Flyers were sent to Birnamwood Village Board members, Wittenberg Birnamwood school board members, and appeared in March newsletters sent home with all students in the school district. Bookmarks were distributed at the Birnamwood library and high school library, to all juniors and seniors students at the high school, and to all teachers.

  5. Getting the word out…cont. Newspaper coverage: Front page coverage about the evening was provided by the Wittenberg Enterprise. It also appeared twice in the weekly Birnamwood public library column “Books and Stuff.”

  6. Computer Lab Presentations 6:30 – 7:00 NEWcat library catalog and Badgerlink 7:00 – 7:30 Resumes, letterhead, business letters, address labels 7:30 – 8:00 Tax preparation websites and financial information websites 6:30 – 8:00 Open computer time for individual help and questions

  7. Special thanks to the Wittenberg Girl Scout troop for providing assistance with the refreshments and babysitting. Good luck with your "technology badge" girls!
