Important questions • Are we implementing the IAEA Safety Standards? • Do we have good understanding of the safety standards to implement them? • Are we part in developing the Safety Standards? • What is our role as Member States • Do we know how Safety Standards are being developed and approved?

  6. What is (are) the problem(s)? Is it Government responsibilities? Is it regulatory body responsibilities?

  7. Each group should prepare presentation on these issues and to be present it on the last day of the workshop 20 mins + 10 discussion

Objective of the workshop • Improve the understanding of IAEA Safety Standards in Establishing or Improving Regulatory and Radiation Safety Infrastructure • More understanding of the role of the Government and the regulatory body • Member States role in developing, approving and implementing Safety Standards • Sharing Experience
