Background Information • Born in Dayton, Ohio Wilbur on Aug 19 1871 and Orville on April 16 1867. • Had a traveling father, a handy mother an older brother and a younger sister. • Although both went to collage neither got a degree or diplomas • They owned a bike shop and started teaching pilots for plane drivers. • Wilbur died May 30 1912 at 45 from typhoid. Orville died on January 30 1948 at 75 in his sleep.

  3. Accomplishments • The Wright Brothers are known for building the worlds first aircraft. • They also improved the bike. • Both of these helped to speed up traveling.

  4. Qualities • Some or the qualities that helped the two brothers along the way were family and friend support they always stuck to their dream and that they could always try the hardest .

  5. Childhood • The boys as they were younger they never really saw their dad because he was always traveling so when they saw him and he gave them a toy it made an impact that carried over into the dream that they could one day fly.
