The 5 Dysfunctions of a Team Truly Cohesive Teams are obvious: • They Trust one another • They engage in Unfiltered Conflict around ideas • They Commit to decisions and plans of actions • They hold one another Accountable for delivering against those plans • They focus on the achievement of collective Results

  6. The 5 Dysfunctions of a Team Strategy for Overcoming the Absence of Trust • Identify and discuss individual Strengths and Weaknesses • Spend considerable time in face-to-face and Working Sessions

  7. The 5 Dysfunctions of a Team Strategy for Overcoming the Fear of Conflict • Acknowledge that conflict is required for productive meetings • Understand individual team member’s natural conflict styles and establish common ground rules for engaging in conflict
