  3. Multi- • DEFINTION: more than one • Multipurpose, Multicolored, Multicultural, Multilingual • Many drawings are multicolored. • Lysol spray is a multipurpose household cleaner.

  4. Fore- • DEFINTION: “Before” • Forecast, Forefather, Foresee, Foresight • Meteorologists have make weather forecasts to predict the weather for the week. • Our forefathers of the United States wrote the Declaration of Independence.

  5. Hyper- • DEFINTION: where it meant “over,” usually implying excess or exaggeration • Hyperbole, Hyperactive, Hyperlink, hyperloop • The hyperactive child was abnormally active, • The student was read a hyperboleoff the board, I was waiting in line for the cashier for infinite hours!

  6. Self- • DEFINTION: Used to form words that describe something or someone as doing something themselves • Self-centered, Self-served, Self-respect, Self-taught • The evil queen from the movie Stone white and the Huntsmen was extremely self-centered! • Louis Armstrong was a self-taught musician during the era of the Harlem Renaissance.
