  3. Classification • 4 different degrees of classification: • Mild • Moderate • Severe • Profound • Cause of disability determines age the symptoms occur and the severity of these symptoms

  4. Outlook • Entitled to: • Free testing • Individualized education • Skills training • Independent living • Employment

  5. Classroom • Provided by schools • Education • Social development • Teachers should make accommodations and modifications to their instructions for these students
