The New Deal: Solutions to Unemployment, Homelessness, Farming Decline, and Banking Crises

The New Deal was a transformative series of programs during the Great Depression aimed at addressing critical social and economic issues. The Civilian Conservation Corps created jobs for 12 million unemployed citizens through initiatives like construction of public facilities. Public Housing projects alleviated homelessness by constructing affordable homes. The Agricultural Adjustment Act (AAA) helped stabilize the farming industry by regulating production, while the FDIC protected depositors' money, ensuring financial stability amid widespread bank failures. Together, these measures provided vital relief to struggling Americans.
