Purpose of Community Learning • Maximise access to learning, whatever people’s circumstances. • Promote social renewal by bringing local communities together. • Impact on the social and economic well-being of individuals, families and communities.
Objectives • Focus on people most disadvantaged and least likely to participate. • Ensure those that can pay do pay and use this to fund more learning for those that can’t. • Widen participation • Support progression relevant to personal circumstances. • Develop stronger communities
