Seniors in Denmark • Change in age distribution in Denmark: Until 2025 the number of citizens of 64 or older will increase by 40 %. In the same period the number of people in the working age between 18 and 64 will decrease by 5 %. This development sets a new frame for our welfare society.

The borger.dk network 2 parallel networks: Librarians Citizen Service Departments Libraries play a major role in bringinge borger.dk to danish citizens. Libraries are for everybody Libraries are considered neutral partners.
Learn more about IT • An educational project • A network of libraries and other educational organisations Aim: To raise the average IT skill level of Danish citizens To create IT course material in such a way that it can be re-used by others
The back-bone of the network is a shared approach to teaching IT to absolute beginners. Most important points in this approach is: • Focus on teaching concepts rather than details • Understanding – NOT remembering • NO computers
