  1. JIC-SIS Assessment Module 1 2 3 4 Enter User Name Enter Password Select Language. Default is English Click Login

  2. SIS Assessment Module 1 Select Assessment Module from Tasks Systems

  3. SIS Assessment Module 1 2 Select Direct Assessment Start with selecting PEO’s Windows to complete for each Program (Major)

  4. Program Educational Objectives (PEO’s) 2 1 3 5 4 2 • To Execute Query (i.e. to see or edit available data) • Click “Enter Query” button or press F7 • Enter semester • Enter department • Enter major • Click “Execute Query” button or press F8. Available data will be displayed

  6. Program Educational Objectives (PEO’s) 2 1 • Enter (or copy and Paste from any text file) the description for each PEO • To save data, Click Save button or F10 • Auto numbering will appear after Save

  7. Program Student Outcomes (SO’s) 1 2 Select Direct Assessment from Assessment Module Select SO’s Windows to complete for each Program (Major)

  12. Performance Indicators (PI’s) • To Execute Query repeat the steps mentioned in PEO’s Screen guide • To Enter Data execute query first then browse and edit available records by keyboard down and up arrows • Continued…

Performance Indicators (PI’s) 3 2 1 • Enter the performance indicators for the highlighted SO • Select the key courses for the highlighted SO • To save data, click save button or press F10 • Highlight next SO and repeat above steps • PI’s numbering (Letters with Suffixes) will appear after Save

  14. Course Learning Outcomes (CLO’s) 1 2 Select Direct Assessment from Assessment Module Select CLO’s Windows to complete for each Course /Major

  17. Course Rubric Criteria (CRC) 1 2 Select Direct Assessment from Assessment Module Select CRC to enter course rubric criteria for each course if applicable

Course Rubric Criteria (CRC) 1 2 3 • To Execute Query: • Click on Semester field and Press F7 then F8 • To edit data browse available rubrics using up and down keyboard arrows, make the needed changes and save. • To create a new record continue browsing until all fields become blank then: • Select Semester • Enter Rubric Name • Select course code • Continued…

This can be changed Achieved Average will be displayed after saving all assessment scores of targeted students Enter Action to be taken if row is highlighted with red Select PI’s for highlighted criteria To save data, click save button or press F10

  21. Course Rubric Assessment 1 2 3 Select Course code… popup window will display all of the available rubrics... Data related to concern staff will appear only. F7 then F8 could be used Select Course Activity Select Targeted Section

Course Rubric Assessment 8 9 1 4 3 5 6 2 7 • Number of assessments /criterion and student ID’s for selected section will be displayed • Select Enter Criteria Average if the average scores are to be entered manually (No SIS Calculations) • Select Targeted Students or • Select all • Click “Selected Students” button to keep only selected students in the list • Select “ Assessment# ” using the forward and back word arrows • Click “Rollback” button to delete record and reselect students • Check box (√) if criteria is not satisfied by student • Click on “Save” button or press F10 • Select “Calculate Criteria Average ” and click on “Calculate Avg from SIS”
