  2. 13 Things you NEED TO KNOW about Mr. Wheeler’s Class (write them down, it counts as a grade, and you will be quizzed later!)

  3. Always put your full name and class period in the upper right hand corner of your paper: First and Last Period __ 13 Things You Should Know

  4. When you first come in to my classroom: Enter QUIETLY, and throw out any gum or food.

  5. Check the board or projector for instructions, and FOLLOW THEM!

  6. 3. Please find your seat be ready when the bell rings. sharpen Pencils or get out writing pens

  7. 4. If you areTARDY: • If you have a tardy admit slip, • place it on the corner of my desk. • Sit down quickly and quietly, and • get to work! DO NOT try to tell me why you are late!!!

  8. Come prepared to class with: • A spiral notebook or a Binder with lined paper • 2 pens or pencils (NO RED!) • Binder/ Notebook • Tablet PC --- Charged!

  9. 6. If you need to borrow a pen or pencil: • Borrow from a friend first! • **To be fair I do not let students borrow/rent my pencils/pens. You will receive discipline for this infraction!

  10. 7. Think carefully before raising your hand! • Is what I am going to say: • appropriate? • on topic? • going to get me in trouble?

  13. 10. The “In Box” is that plastic thing by The door! It is where you turn stuff in. Check my website in case you were absent.

  14. 11. During Class Time: • pay attention • take notes • participate

  15. 12. At the End of Class: • I dismiss you, not the bell. • Wait to pack up until I tell you, • or you could miss something • very important. • (also, I make us all wait until you • unpack again!)

  16. 13. Behavior Ladder Write/ Draw the behavior ladder Finally… Sign your “Things You Should Know” paper at the bottom, and turn it in to the “In Box” before you leave!
