Minority College Relations Team Student Contract Program

This student contract program focused on Industrial and Systems Engineering, presented by MCRT to enhance knowledge in logistics and management. The participant, hailing from Herndon, VA, gained valuable experience in handling Safety/RAD Waste with DoD Executive Agency.   3. ACCOMPLISHMENTS • Home page for DoD Executive Agency for Low-Level Radioactive Waste (LLRW). • Online database for shipment manifests. • On-site experience at Middletown, IA. • Visited one of John Deere’s facilities in Moline, IL.

  4. KNOWLEGE GAINED • Learned about radioactive waste, and the processes involved in disposal. • From both off-site as well as on-site perspectives. • Gained unique work experience • Improved organization skill
