  4. CLS Quick Facts • ~ 900 computers in 45 locations • Over 800 Windows • Less than 50 Unix • Less than 30 Mac • Over 300 distinct software packages • 125 (15 locations) can not run Office 2007 • Over 300 can’t run Vista These CLS locations are, (or soon will be) “technologically obsolete”

  6. Obsolete Breakdown By end of 2009, 25 of 45 CLS locations will contain computers with expired warranties • 3 year warranties on CLS computers: • 88 expired in 2005 • 83 expired in 2006 • 135 expired 2008 • 16 will expire in 2009
