3D And 2D Signs in UAE

Signage can be of two types, one being a traditional 2D sign and other being a little fancy 3D sign. 3D and 2D signs have been used for a long time in the advertising, restaurants, companies etcetera and will be seen used even in future. There are different types of 2D and 3D signs. <br><br>The 2D signs or Flat cut out can be made with a range of materials like aluminum, Plastic, woos, brass, vinyl and steel. The signs are imprinted onto a board, usually an opal acrylic flat panel front on which graphics can be applied giving it a artistic touch.<br><br>3D signs are of two types, one is a partial 3D or Raised cut out letters and other being Full 3D signs also called as Pan lettering/Fabricated Cut out letters. Partial 3D signs is made out of any substrate and then given a 3D effect by raising the cut out sign elements away from the wall with the help of thin steel or pins.<br><br>Full 3D signs are usually used by corporate giants, malls, huge retails chains etcetera. There are different ways of creating full 3D signs, first one being decorating the sign with digitally printed vinyl which will look like a 3D sign. Second one being laminating it with layers which will give it a thicker look which can be cut eventually as per need. And third one being pan lettering and fabricating in such a way that the method of installation will depend on desired effect.<br>

  5. Partial 3D signs are used by small retails stores. They mount it on a glass to give it a 3D effect.

  6. They are made from different substrate except vinyl. Thickness is not a constraint in 3D signs.

  7. 3D Signs are sometimes held with the help of aluminium strips or pins giving it a 3Dimension and adding lights around it to enhance them.

  8. A two dimensional signage can be illumined its way to a three dimensional appearance by usage of appropriate tools.
