  2. Who Is this person Ferdinand Magellan the very first explorer to sail around the world.He also found the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean.

  3. Magellan’s History Ferdinand Magellan was born in 1480 into the poor Magellan family. In 1492 he became Queen Leonoro’s paige. In 1496 Ferdinand becomes a government clerk and helps set up expedtions. In 1505 Ferdinand goes to war with the Arabs. In 1516 the Portuguese king refuses to send Ferdinand on an expedtion.

  4. More Magellan’s History In 1517 Ferdinand moves to Spain forever. In 1518 the Spanish king agrees to finace Ferdinand’s voyage west to the Muluccas. In Ferdinand claims the Philippines for Spain, and dies in the battle.In 1522 Ferdinand’s ship,the Victoria,reaches Spain the first circumnavigation of the world.

  8. Importance or significance To our world or society if Ferdinand didn’t sail we wouldn’t know the earth is round. we also wouldn’t know there was a Pacific ocean and the Atlantic Ocean
