  1. 抗病毒中藥之研究The study of antiviral effects on Chinese medicine • 中文摘要 • 病毒在人類癌症歷史中，扮演著很特殊的角色。與中國人最相關的癌症─鼻咽癌(Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma;NPC) 則與愛氏頓病毒(Epstein-Barr Virus;EBV)有相關聯。本研究的第一部分，針對可抑制EBV 複製的DNA Polymerase進行三十種中藥篩選，具50% 以上抑制率之藥材有葛限、麻黃根、沒藥及木香，其中以葛根呈現較有意義的抑制效果，進而測試其中成分之抑制率，並證實其抗EBV DNA Polymerase活性成分為Isolavonoid-daidzein，並且對α-DNA Polymerase 不具抑活性。本研究的第二部分以高效能液相層析法，分析定量臺灣產葛藤(Pueraria montanaMerr) 及各地市售各種葛根藥材及飲片中，葛根主成分daidzein及衛生署所公佈(83年度起中藥GMP 廠必測）之指標成分－puerarin之含量，以供未來開發植物質源及藥材品管之參考。另外，葛根在臨床上雖常用於感冒、解熱、鎮痛及透疹之主藥，但實際上，中醫師未有用單一藥材治病，而均以方劑應用於治療，因此乃進一步，調劑臨床常用含葛根方劑加以分析。
