  1. Auto-engineer By. Bailey Okray 4th hour 5/10/2013 Career Tech Foundation

  2. How I got started to like it • The job I want is to work at an auto-mobile plant if you didn’t know it’s the people who test all the parts of a car and move the equipment. One of the fun parts of working as an auto engineer is that you can meet new people from all over and have some of the same interest as you. I got interested in this field because my Papa (My Grandpa) worked at different types of plants and he always have been having fun and I want to experience some of the fun that he's had and I’ve always been amused at the thing that my grandpa does so I kind of want to be like him

  3. Working conditions • The working conditions are kind of hard for one reason you have to wear safety goggles everywhere in the plant and its mainly an indoor complex and you work decently long hours from early mornings to almost night .

  4. Responsibilities' • you have to test equipment to make it safe so civilians don’t get injured riding the car that you and many people created. • you have to be willing to get up to go to this job every day unless you get certain days off. • keeping what you are making a secret so other companies cant steal your companies creation. • You have to drive a company brand car not just what ever car you chose

  5. Qualifications • I think you would need a bachelors degree or an associates degree for being an auto-engineer. And I would go to an engineering collage such as Wayne state because they have an engineering department and I would probably take a class like wood shop, math and science.

  6. Outlook/Employment • I would like to work in the Dearborn ford plant because I know about it from being inside it and that’s were my grandpa worked at and working where my grandpa did would bring back memories from when I went there.

  7. Earnings • My lifestyle goals would be to get a house around a medium 2 story or a big 1 story house because I want to have a family a not to big one a pet and stuff like that. The payment would fit my goals and I think that my first purchase that isn't normal life style things would probably a computer.

  8. Occupation • If this job doesn’t fall threw I would want to be an architect because my uncle is one and its just one of the jobs I want to do if my main one doesn’t work I know that it’s a really hard job because I would have to make diagrams and stay up and have to work on many things but the pay would be good.

  9. summary • I'm not looking forward for a lot of things in life but the job I want to be is one of the things I’m serious about I want to be an engineer because of my grandpa I want to be like him but you always need a backup plan if the main one falls threw that’s why other than being an engineer I would like to be an architect because that’s the job my uncle has and he always seems to be having fun in his job and I would like to have a job that’s not boring like working at Casco or McDonalds. and suit me even if the job doesn’t suit me I’d still try my hardest to get it because its been a dream from when I was a kid and I know I will succeed at getting the job of an auto-engineer.
