Inheritance – Two Ways? 11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, (passive Voice) We are Christ’s Inheritance, and He is ours 1 Corinthians 3:21 So then, no more boasting about human leaders! All things are yours, 22 whether Paul or Apollos or Cephasor the world or life or death or the present or the future—all are yours, 23 and you are of Christ, and Christ is of God.

  12. Inheritance: What is it? All God’s Promises 2 Corinthians 1:19 For Jesus Christ, the Son of God, does not waver between “Yes” and “No.” ...and as God’s ultimate “Yes,” he always does what he says. 20 For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” Romans 8:17And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

  13. Promise: Will He keep it? Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; Romans 4:21 and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform. 2 Peter 3:9The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Promise: How can I be sure? 2 Corinthians 1:19 12 in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. 13And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession— to the praise of his glory.
